Fantail Finances




We're an Auckland based tax agency and production accounting firm dealing with all things financial for the creative industries - film, television, commercial, music, art. Our production team offer full service project accounting from budget preparation through to job wrap and our tax team look after greater financial management and compliance including GST, provisional tax and year end filing. 


Each one of our team is highly qualified and has great tech skills – we’re Xero certified and we have extensive up-to-date knowledge of a range of other industry budgeting and financial software. We work quickly and accurately, have great time management and above all we are honest, discreet and trustworthy.

In addition, we’re up to date with compliance requirements for the various funding bodies as well as NZSPG, so we can be trusted to ensure that all audits are passed with flying colours.



Alecia (Lece) has 14 years experience in accounting and finance with 12 of those years working within the creative industries. In addition to general business accounting and production accounting, she specialises in business and financial strategy and operations. Alecia is a tax agent and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Auckland.


Kerry has many years of accounting experience, with 12 of those years working in the entertainment industry in NZ & Australia. She is passionate about helping people in the creative industry to feel at ease with their accounting needs and brings her considerable energy and experience to provide a full range of services for our clients.


Waiora has accounting experience in a mixture of industries; entertainment, public relations and most recently a couple years in the produce industry. She has a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in Accounting and is excited to now be in the creative industry, where she feels a natural fit. Wai's impeccable attention to detail and unflappable nature is a perfect fit for her role providing production accounting services as well as regular monthly compliance and bookkeeping services.


Ange is our wonderful office manager, who has over 15 years’ experience including six years in the entertainment industry. She has a broad knowledge of business administration and office management and along with her great time management skills this enables her to effectively and efficiently complete any task required. Motivated by crossing things off lists, she’s our go to for anything that falls under the administration hat of finance.


Jo is an absolute accounting whiz and has many years of experience working in both big and small chartered accounting firms with a wide range of clients.

She is our go-to person in the office for curly questions and brings enviable patience, positivity and efficiency to her role as senior tax accountant.


Bella is a qualified bookkeeper who comes to us from a background in corporate retail accounts administration. She is a total ace with data and reconciling and has become a Xero Certified Advisor since joining the team. She enjoys hot yoga. Bella is providing general bookkeeping and production accounting services and has been learning about NZSPG's.

Tracy has had many years of experience in Chartered Accounting firms, a graphic design company and managing her own small business. She is a tax agent with a Bachelor of Business Studies, majoring in Accountancy. Tracy brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as one of our senior tax accountants and cares deeply about achieving the best outcomes for our clients.
